
Financially Secure Personnel Are Better Able To Deliver Decisive Air Power – Chief Of Air Staff
The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, has reaffirmed his commitment to personnel welfare as a key enabler of operational effectiveness, declaring that “Financially secure personnel are better able to deliver decisive air power.” The CAS made the remark while receiving the Managing Director of Ecobank Nigeria, Mr Bolaji Lawal, and his delegation during a courtesy visit to Headquarters Nigerian Air Force on 25 June 2026. Air Marshal Aneke described Ecobank as a valued partner whose financial solutions have continued to support the financial well-being of officers, airmen, airwomen and civilian staff, thereby contributing to a more motivated and productive workforce.
The CAS commended Mr Lawal and the Ecobank team for their sustained support towards enhancing the welfare of Nigerian Air Force personnel and welcomed the bank’s commitment to deepening its partnership with the Service. In his remarks, Mr Bolaji Lawal expressed appreciation to the Nigerian Air Force for its confidence in Ecobank, reaffirming the bank’s commitment to providing innovative financial solutions that enhance the welfare and financial well-being of NAF personnel. He noted that Ecobank remains proud of its long-standing relationship with the Service and looks forward to strengthening the partnership for their mutual benefit.
Air Marshal Aneke thanked Mr Bolaji Lawal and the entire Ecobank family for their continued support and confidence in the Nigerian Air Force.
