Nigerian Navy Remains Number One In Sub-Saharan Africa — Director Naval Information

The Director of Naval Information asserted that the NN remains number one in Sub-Saharan Africa, he made this statement during a media visit to Channels Television on Tuesday 14 May 2024. The visit was part of DINFO Media Tour (Abuja area) which spanned from Friday 10 May 2024 to Tuesday May 14 2024, sequel to approval by the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Vice Admiral EI Ogalla.

Other media houses visited Voice of Nigeria (VON), Image Merchant Promotions Limited(PR NIGERIA), Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Armed Forces Radio (AFR). During the media tour, the DINFO articulated:
-CNS VISION & MISSION
-CNS Strategic End State
-NN Total Spectrum Maritime Strategy,
-NN Trinity of Action
-NN successes under Operation DELTA SANITY,
-The need for expeditious judicial processes regarding arrested vessels
-Flag-Off EX OBANGAME EXPRESS, and
-Forthcoming Navy Week activities.
DINFO was warmly received by notable figures such as; Mr Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos, the Director General of NTA; Mr Chamberlain Usoh of Channels TV; Col TO Antigha (rtd), the Director General of Armed Forces Radio; Mr Jubril Baba Ndace, the Director General VON; and Alhaji Yushau Shuaibu, the Publisher of PR Nigeria. Each expressed appreciation for NN’s efforts and pledged enhanced collaboration.
