PHDL, FHFL Reaffirm Commitment to Continued Partnership
Post-Service Housing Development Limited (PHDL) and Family Homes Funds Limited (FHFL) have reaffirmed their commitment to sustained partnership and explored additional areas of collaboration in housing development and welfare support for military personnel and their families.
The commitment was made on Friday, 11 September 2026, when the Managing Director/CEO, FHFL, Mr Abdul Mutallab Mukhtar, who was represented by the Executive Director, Operations, Dr Emeka Inegbu, led a delegation on a courtesy visit to PHDL Corporate Headquarters in Asokoro, Abuja.
Receiving the delegation, the Managing Director/CEO, PHDL Major General Kevin Ukandu, appreciated FHFL for recognising the sacrifices of military personnel and honouring the memory of fallen heroes. He particularly commended the provision of 50 homes for widows of fallen heroes at the PHDL Pacesetter Estate, Akobo, Ibadan, noting that the gesture would provide succour to the beneficiaries and motivate personnel still serving in the field.
The FHFL delegation expressed its commitment to continued collaboration with PHDL and discussions focused on replicating the housing intervention in other locations, as well as exploring other areas of partnership.
The commissioning of the 50 homes at the PHDL Pacesetter Estate, Akobo, is expected to take place soon, following the completion of the necessary preparations. The visit ended with the signing of the visitors’ book, presentation of souvenirs and group photographs.
