Timaya Needs To Attend Anger-management Classes – PunchNG

Timaya has been accused of pulling a Justin Bieber on fans and even going as far as insulting a journalist.

According to Punch, the self-proclaimed Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa insulted a staff of the media house when asked for an interview. “It is apparent that he needs to attend anger-management classes. Put off by his saucy attitude, one of his aides had to apologise on his behalf,” Punch says.

So legendary was his hot temper that comedians often made jokes off it. However, when the self-acclaimed Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa welcomed his first child, he announced that he would be cutting his trademark dreadlocks to honour his daughter. He had said at the time, “My dreadlocks was a strategy. I wanted people to see me as a rude boy. I couldn’t have been giving all those trouble with a calm and clean face. I wanted a look that (people) would associate with it.”

And that’s not all.

The I Concur singer allegedly rejected fans’ requests for a selfie.

Fans at the same event also complained that he brushed them off when they attempted to take pictures with him,” the media house continued.

Was this alleged incident a carefully crafted stunt by the singer?

In his November 2016 interview with the same media house, Timaya revealed that wearing dreadlocks was a strategy to embolden his rude-boy image.

My dreadlock was a strategy. I wanted people to see me as a rude boy. I couldn’t have been giving all those trouble with a calm and clean face. I wanted a look that would associate with it,” he said, but he has since chopped off the locks.

Now, people come to me and I smile,” he added.

Well, he allegedly didn’t smile this time.

We wait for his reaction.
