TRADOC Commander Charges Army Officials On Research and Development

The Headquarters Training and Doctrine Command Nigerian Army (HQ TRADOC NA) Minna , Niger State has organised the 2023 version of the Combined Mid Year Course Appraisal, Curriculum Hamonization Workshop and Research and Development Conference . The event was organised for deputy commandants of Nigerian Army training institutions and specially invited officers of the Nigerian Army. The event was declared opened by the Commander TRADOC NA Major General KO Aligbe ably represented by the Chief of Doctrine and Combat Development HQ TRADOC NA, Major General JAL Jimoh.

While declaring the Conference open, the Commander TRADOC NA charged officers of the Nigerian Army on the need to engage in Training, Research and Development in other to improve thier professionalism and performance in contemporary operations environment. The event held at HQ TRADOC NA Auditorium, Minna. He also thanked the Chief of Army Staff, Major General TA Lagbaja for providing resources needed for the succesful conduct of the event.

Highpoint of the event was a lecture titled Enhancing Research and Development and Capacity Building in Nigerian Army delivered by an erudite Scholar, Profesaor Usman Tar who is currently the Director, Centre for Defence Studies and Documentation , Nigerian Defence Academy.
