I Want 7 Children and 7 Ballons d’Or – Cristiano Ronaldo Reveals

Cristiano Ronaldo, or CR7, is big on the number 7, and he’s disclosed that he wants to have seven children and win the same number of Ballons d’Or!

Ronaldo, 32, recently welcomed his fourth child, Alana Martina, with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and has revealed he wants three more in addition to another ballon d’Or when the announcement is made next month.

But the Real Madrid star has had an underwhelming start to the season, scoring just once in seven La Liga matches, and he admits he could get better.

“I’m happy and I feel good, you have to stay calm and keep working, because you can obviously do better,” Ronaldo said.

“I am only judged on scoring, which is sometimes not always the most important thing.

“I accept the criticism, but I do not agree. That’s why I avoid reading or hearing what is said about me.

“But, I have no choice but to accept it, I cannot control the world.”

Ronaldo has fared better in the Champions League, where he has netted six times in four group-stage matches.

But Los Blancos aren’t doing too well on the continent either as they presently sit second in Group H after losing 3-1 to Tottenham in their last match on November 1.

While finishing second in their group would mean a matchup against a group winner in the round of 16, Ronaldo insists the two-time defending champions fear no opponent, including star-studded Paris Saint Germain.

“I’m not afraid of PSG, we’re the defending champions two years in a row, we have to respect that,” Ronaldo said.

“We would prefer to finish first in the group, but the important thing is first of all qualification.”

The Portugal captain added that he’s still got a lot to achieve in his life and career.

“I want seven children and the same number of Ballons d’Or,” Ronaldo said.

“My dream is the fifth Ballon d’Or, and next year there will be another one to go,” Goal quotes him as saying.

He must be sweating at the moment, after a leaked image showed Barca’s Lionel Messi won the ballon d’Or.
