Full List Of President Buhari’s Latest Appointments

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the re-appointment of Mr Boss Mustapha as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Malam Abba Kyari as Chief of Staff (COS) to the President and 11 others.

This was disclosed on Friday by the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.

He added that the appointments take effect from May 29, 2019.

The appointments is coming less than 24hrs after the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) initiated a suit seeking to stop President Buhari’s aides from retaining their offices without formal announcement reappointing them

CUPP on Thursday challenged the continued stay in office by some aides of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Spokesperson of the group, Imo Ugochinyere, said, “We, therefore, warn all the former Presidential aides of President Buhari, from the first term, to stay away from their former offices until and unless they are armed with fresh appointment letters or risk criminal prosecution, and trial for violation of the code of conduct bureau act.”.

Most of those who made it to the President’s latest list were those who had served in his first term.

Eleven (11) other appointments by President Buhari:

1. Mohammed Sarki Abba – Senior Special Assistant to the President (Household and Social Events)

2. Ya’u Shehu Darazo – Senior Special Assistant to the President (Special Duties)

3. Dr Suhayb Sanusi Rafindadi – Personal Physician to the President

4. Amb. Lawal A. Kazaure – State Chief of Protocol

5. Sabiu Yusuf – Special Assistant (Office of the President)

6. Saley Yuguda – Special Assistant (House Keeping)

7. Ahmed Muhammed Mayo – Special Assistant (Finance & Administration)

8. Mohammed Hamisu Sani – Special Assistant (Special Duties)

9. Friday Bethel – Personal Assistant (General Duties)

10. Sunday Aghaeze – Personal Assistant (State Photographer)

11. Bayo Omoboriowo – Personal Assistant (Presidential Photographer)

According to the President, the above appointments take effect from May 29, 2019.
