Be Good Ambassadors Of Multinational Joint Task Force, Gen. Irabo Urges Benin Contingent
The Force Commander Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Major General Lucky Irabor has urged the newly inducted troops from the Benin Republic into the MNJTF to be good ambassadors of their country and the MNJTF. He made the stated that in his address while welcoming the Benin Republic Contingent into MNJTF family at Farcha Camp, Ndjamena, Chad.
General Irabor also reminded the troops of their tasks, which involves Garrison duties for the MNJTF. The FC thanked the President of Benin Republic, government and good people of Benin for the unflinching support and cooperation in the fight against terrorism and insurgency within the Lake Chad Basin Region.
General Irabor also apprecited the Honorable Minister of Defence, Chief of Defence Staff and Service Chiefs of Benin Republic for their commitments at ensuring the contingent arrival to the mission. The Force Commander reminded the troops of the need to be law abiding, disciplined and enjoined them to remain professional in the discharge of their duties.
Earlier, the FC was welcomed into the camp by the Contingent Commander/Officer Commanding, Commandant DatriBienvenue Nonti who introduced his officers and the men to the FC. The contingent comprised of 8 officers and the 142 soldiers.
The Force Commander was conducted round the camp. He was accompanied by the Deputy Force Commandant (DFC) Brigadier General Mahamat Moussa Djoui and Chiefs of cells from the MNJTF Headquarters.
