President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Dr Dakuku Peterside as the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
Peterside’s appointment was announced on Thursday, March 10, 2016, via a statement released by Ministry of Transportation spokesperson, Yetunde Sonaike.
According to the statement, Peterside has a Doctorate Degree in Management Science from the University of Port Harcourt and MBA in Business Administration.
He also holds a Bachelor Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences (B.MLS) in Hematology from Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
Peterside was previously the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State.
